Elf laser maze
The elves have made a colourful pretend laser maze across a doorway.
Make this idea your own
You will need: elf dolls, coloured paper streamers or low-tack tape, and paper for a sign.
1. Choose a doorway away from stairs and essential walkways.
2. Attach coloured paper strips at different angles to create pretend laser beams. Test the tape on a hidden area first.
3. Add a “Lasers!” sign and sit the elves beside the maze.
4. Let children try the challenge with an adult, then remove the strips. Use paper strips that break easily rather than taut string.
