Christmas dessert board
One platter that lets everyone build their own dessert.

A festive food idea
Arrange berries, sliced stone fruit, brownie bites, meringues, marshmallows, chocolate, whipped cream and a couple of sauces on one large board.
Ingredients
- 250 g strawberries, washed and dried
- 2 peaches or nectarines, washed and sliced
- 200 g ready-made brownie, cut into small pieces
- 6 small ready-made meringues
- 100 g marshmallows
- 100 g chocolate, broken into pieces
- 150 ml cream, whipped and refrigerated
- 4 tbsp chocolate or berry sauce, in a small bowl
Method
- Wash your hands and use a clean food-safe platter. Check every packaged ingredient for allergens and dietary needs.
- Prepare fruit shortly before serving. Keep fruit, whipped cream and any dairy-based sauce chilled until you arrange the board.
- Put cream and sauces in small bowls. Place these on the platter, then group brownie bites, meringues, chocolate and marshmallows around them.
- Add the fruit last, keeping juicy pieces away from dry treats. Set out clean serving tongs or spoons and serve promptly.
- For a long gathering, serve small amounts and replenish with chilled food. Refrigerate perishable food within 2 hours, sooner on a hot summer day.
